About Real Estate Professional John Stewart

Realtor John StewartMy office is in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle Washington. I am a Seattle native and though I’ve lived and worked in other parts of the US, Europe and Asia I returned to Seattle to call it my home. I live in Seattle’s Ravenna neighborhood, just north of the University of Washington. I enjoy outdoor exercise by skiing, rowing, sailing, hiking and indoor recreation by cooking, reading, watching movies and participating in social media. You can find my profiles on LinkedIn, Facebook and Zillow.

My real estate experience in Seattle and exploring the world, gives my clients a local focus and global perspective.

  • Consult for understanding
  • Educate to empower
  • Nurture relationships for open communication

My business approach to thereal estate profession is to customize my service to the buyer or seller within four areas.

  1. Listing properties for sale in the core Seattle neighborhoods
  2. Helping buyers make informed purchases throughout the region and beyond
  3. Consulting with foreign nationals for purchases in the US and Canada
  4. Supporting parents/students in the housing market in my own neighborhood

I am a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Washington Realtors, Seattle / King County Association of Realtors, the Federation Internationale des Administrateurs de Biens Conseils et Agents Immobiliers (FIABCI) and the Asian Real Estate Association of America. I hold NAR designations as a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Transnational Referral Certification (TRC) and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES).

The CIPS designation gives you access, outside of the traditional Coldwell Banker Bain network, to a select group of international professionals in over 65 countries. The FIABCI network opens the door for you to a global group of professionals involved in all aspects of the real estate industry. I have a minor focus on the real estate market in Whistler, British Columbia, as a result of over fifteen years of ownership there. This attention to international real estate gives you access to a global marketplace for either buying or selling a primary or second home.

The SRES designation indicates my focus and training to support a group of people who are frequently experiencing dramatic life changes. I recognize that buying or selling real estate often encompasses a great deal more than simply marketing a home and am prepared to provide support in all aspects of buying a vacation property, selling a family home or moving to a retirement community. This process often involves a number of family members and we are ready to support you.
